Suzuki offers four-stroke power with the DF15. This compact, clean-running outboard is perfect for a wide variety of uses. And it's easy on fuel, going up to 50% farther on a tank of gas than comparable two-stroke models. Suzuki engineers designed this compact four-stroke engine to respond smoothly throughout the power curve, without the uneven throttle response you might find with other outboards. This is the engine of choice for boating and fishing magazine writers nationwide.

The DF15 is built for the big job, with forged aluminum connecting rods, a one-piece forged crankshaft and a low oil pressure warning system. A larger hub design even reduces cavitation in reverse, so you can backtroll all day without missing a beat. With instant starts, strong performance and smoke-free operation you can always count on, Suzuki's DF15 outboard is the ultimate workhorse out on the water.

When it comes to fuel economy, 4-strokes outperform 2-strokes time and again. The DF15 delivers up to 40% better fuel economy than comparable 2-stroke outboards.
Suzuki’s DF15 was designed to power a wide range of small craft including inflatables, dinghies, sailboats, tenders, and fishing boats. This portable incorporates such advanced 4-stroke features as electronic ignition, forged aluminum connecting rods, a durable one-piece crankshaft, and a low oil pressure warning system.
The DF15's lightweight design and sturdy carrying handle make it easy to carry.
302 cm3 of displacement delivers some amazing torque and acceleration. The DF15 is available in either electric or manual start with tiller handles or remote steering.
The tiller and controls are centrally positioned with the emergency stop switch incorporated into the handle. The clutch and start switch are located on the tiller support bracket.
Tiller controlled models have a front mounted linear steering adjuster which allows steering to be tightened or loosened without tools.
Suzuki’s 4-stroke technology delivers clean, efficient operation that conforms to the Ultra-Low Emissions 3-Star rating from the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
These models incorporate a number of features that help to guard against exposure to the elements. Suzuki Anti-Corrosion Finish is specially formulated to protect parts of the aluminum exterior that are constantly exposed to e elements. Other features that increase the outboard's durability include forged pistons treated with an Alumite coating for increased heat resistance and a resin coating on the piston skirt for improved resistance to wear.

At idle, only the tell tale water jet will assure you that the motor is running. Very low noise allows you to talk normally to your passengers or crew when out on the water. Add to this very little engine vibration and you have peace and quiet to go along with a great day on the lake.
Suzuki uses its own, original Suzuki Anti-Corrosion Finish to guard the outboard against the harmful effects of corrosion. This special formula is applied directly to the outboard’s aluminum surface to provide maximum bonding of the finish to the alloy surface. Layered on top are an epoxy, primer undercoat, black metallic finish, and clear acrylic resin finish that together, form an effective treatment against corrosion.
