Suzuki Canada Inc. Partners with the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association
(Richmond Hill, Ontario, January 18, 2012) Suzuki Canada Inc. and the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association officially announced a partnership agreement at the Montreal International Auto Show. The CFSA partnership with Suzuki Canada encompasses the entire National Team, including the mogul, aerial, halfpipe and slopestyle squads. This is a category exclusive partnership for Suzuki and also includes integral promotional involvement by Suzuki Canada and Suzuki dealers. Suzuki Canada is a sponsor of this month’s FIS Freestyle World Cup stops at Ski Mont Gabriel, QC and, Canadian Olympic Park in Calgary, AB on January 28 and 29, 2012.
“This partnership just makes sense for Suzuki Canada and for our dealers” said President of Suzuki Canada Inc., Mr. Satoshi Shimizu. “Our vehicles, with our state-of-the-art “Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive (iAWD) and our award winning Grand Vitara 4WD compact SUV, are engineered for all Canadian seasons. Skiing is certainly a way of life for a large proportion of active Canadians, a perfect fit for our product. We’re very excited to help support a group of athletes who have represented Canada so well over many years and who have a great future ahead of them.”, Mr. Shimizu went on to say.
Suzuki will also be awarding the top performing male and female Freestyle National Team athletes this season with a brand new Suzuki vehicle.
